Almost 12 years ago my husband and I packed up everything we owned into a U-Haul and drove 26 hours straight from Illinois to Texas. Boy was that an adventure and a story I will share at another time. Since moving to Texas, we have moved 4 more times within the same city. After moving so many times you become an expert packer. I also got very picky about my packing and moving supplies.
It really is no fun when your carrying a box up the stairs and the bottom falls out or you're going down the highway and the lid to your plastic bins goes flying out the back of the truck along with all your daughter's princess panties. There are just a couple of requirements for good moving boxes if you don't want any of these mishaps. 1. Sturdy 2. Easy to put together 3. Box must close securely
I received three different size moving boxes from Smooth Move. I got the large dish boxes, small bankers boxes and the FastFold Tape-Free file boxes. Even though I am not moving, I use boxes all the time. I buy and sell at flea markets throughout the year and am always moving boxes of stuff to my storage shed.

I was actually surprised by how easy these boxes are to put together. It only takes seconds to have the FastFold box ready to pack. I thought without having tape as a reinforcement that they might fall apart, but they are very sturdy. I have used several for packing away some old files and some ceramics for the flea market. I like the hand holes on the sides for carrying. It makes them very easy to pick up and move around. I must say I really like not having to mess around with tape as I usually end up fighting with it. See how easy it is to assemble these boxes in the video below.
The larger box is also very easy to pop open and just tape the bottom. The cardboard is thick and doesn't buckle like a lot of boxes do. The last thing I want to do is fight with the boxes when I am trying to organize and move. These boxes make is simple and convenient with no frustration.
