Vitamin C Serum & Organic Rosehip Seed Oil #Review

I have been using both products for a few weeks and will continue to use them as I am starting to see signs of my skin changing.  The vitamin C serum does make my skin feel softer and maybe even a little bit plumper.

Both products are very easy to apply with the eyedropper.  Just put a couple of drops on your fingertip and rub it on your skin and let it asbsorb. 

I really like the benefits of the rosehip seed oil.  I have been using it on various scars and marks that I have on my legs.  I have become really self conscious about these marks and am so happy to see them lightening.  I am hoping that they will get even lighter with continued use, and then maybe I won't feel so funny wearing my shorts.

Do You Take Enough Steps Each Day?

Do you know how many steps a day you take?  Most doctors recommend 10,000 a day for adults, 12,000 for girls and 15,000 for boys to have a healthy active lifestyle.  Unfortunately, the average American only takes 3000 - 5000 steps per day.  I was curious as to which category I would fall into.

First wanted to see how many steps I averaged during a regular busy day, where I hardly sit down for any length of time.  I was hopeful in thinking that it had to be close to 10,000 as tired as I would be at the end of the day.  I was a little disappointed to learn I only averaged 3800 - 4700 steps per day.

I told myself that just won't do and I need to kick it up a notch.  I used to walk regularly and enjoy it, but things get busy and I fell out of the habit.  Now is a good time to start that habit back up and get closer to those 10,000 steps a day.

I have the pedometer on me almost all the time.  It's nice and skinny so I can throw it in my pocket or clip it on my pants depending on what I'm wearing.  It keeps it's accuracy wherever I stick it.  I don't jog, but so far the walking mode is working great for me.

I have had a couple cheap pedometers before that always broke within a few weeks and only had a couple of features.  I definitely prefer the Ozeri.  It seems to be pretty durable also as I have hit it on the counter and dropped it a couple of times and still good as new.

Even though I already have fairly straight long hair, it kept my straight iron style smooth yet soft  for a couple of days without getting dull or frizzy.  I also didn't have to keep using the flat iron periodically to keep it looking staight and smooth.

I have never worn fake eyelashes before so these will be fun to try.

Red Rose Simply Indulgent Teas

I received Creme Caramel and Lemon Chiffon flavors along with a $2 off coupon.

I'm not really a lemon fan, but I did like the creme caramel.  It was just the right amount of caramel flavor, not overdone.  I like a cup around bedtime, especially with a cinnamon roll.

Vaseline Men Spray Lotion

Everytime I mention to my hubby that I got a product for him to try out, he gets this strange look on his face.  He is so not one of those guys who uses "products" or primps, but deep down I know he likes being my guinea pig:)  I told him this one would make him soft and smooth.  He laughed and said, "We'll see...."

I will let you know the verdict as soon as I can corral him long enough to sit down and try it out.

Ozeri Digital Blood Pressure Monitor #Review

I have been trying to be healthier and get more exercise since I'm now in my forties.  I'll admit that I'm not so great in my consistency in acheiving this goal, but little by little I'll get there.  One thing that does help to motivate me more is if I have some cool tools or gadgets.  For example, I started using a pedometer to keep track of how many steps I take each day.

I Want To Revolt Now!

Yes, I have started to REVOLT!  Who am I revolting against?.....Myself, of course.   

This year I told myself I was going to start working out again and take better care of myself.  I really mean is now that I've hit my 40's I require more maintenance - more often:)  

Right before I became pregnant with my daughter, I was in the best physical shape of my life.  I was working a physically demanding job and was proud of how strong and fit I had become.  I had just hit 30 and never had any problems with my weight. I ate whatever I wanted, worked out only here and there and it was smooth sailing.

Now my daughter is 9 years old and smooth sailing has hit some choppy waves.  I quit my very physical tiling job to stay at home with my daughter.  I am lucky that I still don't have any weight issues, but I have become severely out of shape.  Since becoming a blogger, my butt spends way too much time glued to the couch in front of my laptop.  In fact, I seem to have lost it somewhere and developed an extremely serious  case of flat ass.

 

I saw the opportunity to become a #RevoltNowFit blogger and jumped on it.  I thought this would be exactly what I needed to get moving and stay motivated.  My goal is to tone and strengthen every muscle and build stamina.  I want to get out and do the things I used to without getting short of breath or tiring too easy.  I want to be a toned and active 41 year old hottie.
