    What Do You #GiveACup About?

Peet's is launching their new Single Cups.  For 5 years they have been perfecting each blend using more coffee and a different kind of filter that lets more flavor pass into the cup.  To celebrate Peet's Single Cups they are launching the internet's very first social sampling experiment - Give A Cup.

    Do You Give A Cup?

Every week you can go to doyougiveacup and vote on a topic.  The topics are fun, current and could be about anything.  Your votes determine where Peet's hosts their sampling events each week.

They could show up at your local farmer's market or the ice cream shop down the street.  It's up to you and America to decide where by voting, sharing and participating in Peet's social sampling experiment.

    This week's topic - Zombies

I am a big fan of all things supernatural.  I like them all from vampires & werewolfs to fairies & hobbits.

The only ones I don't like are zombies.  I know they have become very popular, but I'm just not a fan.

Why am I not a Zombie fan?

    • Zombies are so darn slow.  I mean really, how hard can it be to get away from something that moves so slowly and jerkily.  If you can speed walk, you can out run a zombie.

    • Zombies don't talk or communicate.  They just grunt.

    • Zombies are too easy to kill.  Just blow their heads off and that's it.

      • Zombies are ugly and gross.  There's nothing attractive or appealing about a rotting corpse.

      • If actually caught by a zombie, they just eat you....boring.

What is your opinion on this week's topic of Zombies?  Do You Give A Cup?   I'm curious as to how many of my readers are ready for the Zombie Apocolypse and who could care less about the undead creatures.

Don't forget to vote at doyougiveacup and maybe Peet's will show up in your neighborhood.

      #BICMarkIt Permanent Markers Review

      Bic Mark-It

I was excited to receive the Bic Mark-It 36 count permanent markers from Smiley 360.  I love to craft, color and create.  I find it to be a great stress reliever.  The markers come in this easy flip open case which has room for extras too.  This is a real plus for me.  I am always looking all over for that certain color and can never find it while they are rolling all over the drawer.  The case keeps them neatly organized.

      Bic Mark-It

I had fun decorating the magnetic frame and then I just wanted to play around with all the different colors.  I think my diagonal stripes will make a cool background for some future art project.  They write smoothly and consistantly.  They also dry very quickly on whatever surface and I don't end up getting color all over the side of my hand.

      Bic Mark-It

You can use these markers on different surfaces including glass, metal, plastic, photos and more.  Just imagine all the colorful things you could make.

Visit Bic Mark-It on Facebook for a chance to win one of their daily color inspired prizes and get a $2.00 off coupon.

Disclosure:  I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a free product for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System Review #GetItFree

      Pennington smart feed video

      Pennington Smart Feed

I am in the process of moving from an apartment to a house with a huge yard.  I am so excited to have a yard again even though it needs a lot of work.  Pennington and BzzAgent provided me with the Smart Feed Sprayer System to try in my new yard.  Here in south Texas I am lucky enough to be able to grow things almost year round.

To keep my flowers and plants looking good in the hot Texas sun, I need to water and fertilize them regularly.  I do my best to keep up with watering, but fertilizing is my downfall.  I just don't like to mess with it because it's usually a pain in the butt and just plain icky.

I had my hubby and daughter help me get the flowerbed below planted.  It was a nice way for us to all work together too.

      Making flowerbed

      Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System

Fertilizing is no longer a problem for me with the Pennington Smart Feed.  It's pretty simple and saves so much time.  As a work at home mom, anything that is an easy time saver is awesome.  I also like to save money anywhere I can.  The sprayer system is reusable and sells for around $12.99 and the refill tablets start at only $9.99.  This is a great deal since each tablet fertilizes up to 300 sq. feet.  and comes in three varieties.

You also save money by using half the water of other application systems.  The tablets are pre-measured to supply the right nutrient to water ratio with no mess.  The Smart Feed System delivers 100% of it's nutrients in about 10 minutes versus using 100 gallons of water per application with typical feeders.  Hubby sprayed the above flowerbed in about 2-3 minutes.

      Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System

I also used it on a couple banana trees I am trying to save and bring back to life.  I will update this post very soon with pictures of my beautiful flowerbed and hopefully healthy banana trees.

      Take The Adventure With
      Cree and Scooter

Cree and Scooter Hit The Slopes In British Columbia  is the first book of a global series by Tammy Sutton-Brown.  Cree and Scooter teaches young children about about other places and cultures around the world.

Cree and Scooter Hit The Slopes in British Columbia

Cree is a 7 year old little girl who is given a toy chameleon, named Scooter, by her brother.  Cree soon finds out that Scooter is a very special chameleon.  Scooter comes to life in Cree's dreams and they travel, learn and have fun-filled adventures.

In this first book, Cree and Scooter travel to British Columbia.  They have a fun adventure while learning about Canada's places and people. While learning to ski, they even learn some words in French and so much more.

Cree and Scooter lets your kids use their imagination and they enjoy learning about the world.  My daughter, Rachel loves reading the story and likes the colorful pictures.  At the end of the story, there are bonus activity pages.

      Cree and Scooter

We are leaving for vacation in a couple of days and Rachel keeps telling me not to forget to pack her new Cree and Scooter book.  She plans on doing the activities while we are traveling in the car.  It will help keep her busy for our 1400 mile road trip.  I love seeing her excited about reading and learning.

      #RevoltNowFit - Week 5 Update

Memorial Day and week 5 of Revolt Fitness with Nicole Huntsman.  This was a hard week with all the cookouts and yummy desserts everywhere.  Even harder than not eating my weight in barbeque and fudge brownies, was the week of cardio workouts.

One word of advice for any mom..... Do not play Just Dance with your daughter on the Wii before working out.   I don't know what I was thinking that day.  I sure was tired and a little sore too.  That's when I received the old classic lines "No Pain, No, Gain"  and "Feel The Burn" from my hubby who thinks he's funny:)

Why not try a Free workout and "Feel The Burn" for yourself!  You just might like it and even feel good when you've finished.  Now go ahead and get your butt off the couch and do some exercises with Nicole.  It will only take a few minutes.

Well , how did it go?  I enjoy the workouts the more I do them.  You're not always doing the same exercises everyday.  Having a mix of exercises keeps me from getting bored and I actually looking forward to the next one.

You can continue to work out with Nicole, get a monthly meal plan and much more for only $10 a month.

Check back next week for my update after participating  in the program for 6 weeks.  I will post all my before and after measurements and hopefully some before and after pictures too.  I'll try not to chicken out:)

Disclosure:  I have received free monthly access to the Revolt Fitness Program for review purposes.  All opinions are 100% my own based on my personal experience with the program.
