New Prom Dresses & Old Memories

I remember looking forward to going prom dress shopping with my mom.  Mom enjoyed picking out different suggestions for me and I loved trying them all on for her.  Surprisingly, it never took me too long too find that perfect dress.

It was the late 80's after all, and now I can't believe I thought a couple of them were the "perfect" prom dress.  My freshman year I wore a full length, pink and white striped off the shoulder gown.  For some odd reason I can't remember my sophomore prom dress???  Junior year I wore a teal colored short and strapless dress which the green one below reminded me of.

Then for senior year (1990), I wore the lovely black dress pictured to the right and my friend is in the long white.

Even though the styles and trends come and go, it is always fun to shop for your prom dress.

It's also easier and more convenient to shop for prom now with all our technology.  You can view and compare thousands of dresses online and not waste a penny on gas.

JenJenHouse is a great place to shop online for the prom dress of your choice.  They give you several ways to filter your search to make it easy to find exactly what you are looking for. You can choose your length, color, fabric, neckline, style and price all with the click of a button.

Below are just a couple of the dresses that caught my eye from the new arrivals.  View more JenJenHouse new arrivals at http://www.jenjenhouse.com/Prom-Dresses-c18/new-arrival/.

I've always liked the a-line style dress because it gives you the look of both a long and short style.

As you can tell, I seem partial to strapless also.  It makes me feel more glamorous.
I like the full length fuscia gown below for feeling like a princess on that special night.

My junior prom dress was black and green lace that my mom found at a thrift shop. Senior year we splurged a bit and bought a dark blue gown from bridal shop. I still have both of them in my closet.

You can find great dresses at your local thrift shop. I donated 2 of mine to the local theater group and 2 I have saved at my mom's house.
