I have been on the search for an elastic that actually holds my hair up in a ponytail for years. I've tried so many and they just don't last. I'll put my hair up in a ponytail and ten minutes later it's falling down the back of my head. I understand that I have thick long hair, but something should be able to hold it up.
I am so happy that the search is finally over. I love the Goody ouchless ribbon elastics. I can put my hair up in a ponytail in no time flat and it will stay that way all day if I want. They are also much more stylish than your normal elastic.
If you have long hair then you probaly know what it's like to take out a ponytail holder and pull half your hair out with it. The ribbon elastics come out so smoothly without pulling a bunch of hair out too. My daughter really likes them and doesn't yell "Ouch Mommy" every time I take them out of her hair.
The unique knot style makes them perfect for a casual or dressy look. You can create multiple updo hairstyles. I have used them for braids, a loose side pony, buns and more.
I live in south Texas where it's usually pretty warm, so I throw my hair up alot due to the heat. I don't leave home anymore without a ribbon elastic. I have at least one in my purse or I just keep one on my wrist for when I need it.
